CAF Name Troos-Ekong Player Of The Tournament
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has taken to social media to react after Nigerian Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong was named the 2023 African Cup of Nations player of the tournament after guiding his home country, Nigeria to the second position in the tournament.
Troost-Ekong scored Nigeria’s only goal in the finals of the tournament as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to the host nation, Cote d’Ivoire at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium on Sunday night
Reacting after the Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong won the 2023 African Cup of Nations player of the tournament award, CAF tweeted: “William Ekong
