The experienced striker was hugely involved for Leicester City during the 2022/2023 season where he scored eight goals and created five assists in 35 appearances in all competitions. Despite his exploits, Leicester City football club finished in 18th position on the Premier League table last season, which confirmed their relegation to the EFL Championship. While playing in the Championship, Kelechi Iheanacho has also started the 2023/2024 football season on a good note, scoring five goals and creating two assists in 13 appearances in all competitions. His excellent performances in front of goal is believed to have caught the attention of Inter Milan and according to reports from Transfer News Live, the Serie A side are keen on signing Kelechi Iheanacho next year.
