Andre Trindade is reportedly set on a move to Liverpool, even with the midfielder aware of Fulham’s recent transfer interest
According to journalist Emmanuel Luiz, the 22-year-old Fluminense star has his mind set on a switch to Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp’s side very interested in signing Andre in January.
Whilst the Reds are unwilling to pay Andre’s £40m release clause, the midfielder and Fluminense are willing to accept a lower offer from Liverpool if it means securing a move to Merseyside Indeed, it could now just be a matter of time before Liverpool pull the trigger for the youngster, and the midfielder himself seems set on a move to Anfield in 2024.
Luiz said when asked about the race to sign Andre and Liverpool’s strong stance in the battle for the Brazilian: “Fulham and Liverpool were in the race.
“Andre really wanted Liverpool in the middle of the year, it remains really clear, Andre wants Liverpool, but the most important thing right now is Andre wants Liverpool.”

The battle to sign Andre is certainly intensifying, with Fulham entering the race with Tottenham also reportedly interested in the Fluminense star.
And for Liverpool, they have to increase their own efforts to bring the 22-year-old to Anfield, especially with Andre convinced of a move to Merseyside already.
Now, the ball is firmly in Liverpool’s court, and time is already running out if the Reds want to win the packed race for Andre, which could be one of the most entertaining of the entire January window.
